Google the Source of Junk Clicks on Yahoo PPC Ads?

Yesterday we spotted an interesting visitor who had responded to one of our Yahoo PPC campaigns....It is identified as Google.

Research on the IP address suggests that this could potentially be a spoofed IP, but it is not conclusive. IF this is Google are they conducting research using Yahoo ads? Are they running up costs for Yahoo campaigns that they know also to be Google advertisers? What is the reason behind these visits?

In what could be a related issue Yahoo recently started running Google ads for adsense! Yes, Yahoo is a Google content partner. The example below however is for a Yahoo Search campaign, NOT a content campaign.
